In the pneumatic accessories of the control valve, the booster relay experiences frequent automatic exhaust operations when not in regulation mode, yet the valve position remains stable with a constant pressure from the instrument air supply
The feedback must have caused movement; otherwise, wouldn’t the membrane leak?
Is it a fault with the valve positioner or an issue with the amplifier? Thank you for your helpful advice
Mine is a Metso valve, equipped with a valve positioner; however, it can only operate in two states: on or off. When it is in the on position, the pneumatic amplifier keeps releasing air intermittently
