The new Chuanyi mechanical positioner is installed on the diaphragm control valve; when a signal is sent, the valve position fluctuates, and the valve position indicator keeps jumping within a small range. What is the reason for this?

Check for air leaks in the actuator. Check for air leaks in the air supply pipeline. Verify that the locator is installed in the correct position. Check whether the valve operates smoothly without a locator, or if there is any sticking or sluggishness in its movement. Any of these issues can cause problems with the valve’s operation when using a locator
