Which are the leading UPS manufacturers at present, and what are the features of their main products?

The UPS used in the previous unit was an inferior brand provided by the DCS manufacturer. Currently, this unit uses Emerson and EATON products. Recently, with the construction of new projects, manufacturers have been coming one after another to introduce their products, each highlighting the advantages of theirs. I would like to know from my colleagues: what are the characteristics of the leading UPS manufacturers and their flagship products at present, and which brands are you using, as well as how are their performance and usability?

I’m not sure if your new projects include any measures for treating wastewater, waste gas, etc.
We have used both Emerson and EATON products in our company; the most recent large-scale project involved EATON products, and they performed well. I used to use brands such as Merloni and Gütt; Merloni worked well, while according to the manufacturer, Gütt had some minor issues when in use. The quality of the product itself is fundamental, but the capabilities of the agent are also crucial. Once, an employee from a manufacturer made a mistake during maintenance, which caused a power outage in the DCS system and led to the shutdown of the entire facility.
Emerson’s UPS units are also available in different series and grades; the best ones are from the high-end brand Cloride, which is used in the coal-to-oil processing at Shenhua Ningmei. However, Emerson’s agents in China tend to trick people into buying their lower-end products; despite being part of the Emerson brand, these products are sold at high prices, when in fact they are manufactured in India. I don’t know what brand and model of Emerson it is at the site. Now Emerson has packaged up and sold its electrical business. Schneider is quite commonly used on site. In fact, it wasn’t their brand in the past; for example, APC, Lennox, and also GUTOR mentioned by the friend above. These brands were later acquired by Schneider. Goot is considered a high-end brand; nuclear power plants use their products. I have used the SANTAK 3KVA small UPS from EATON, and it seems that its lifespan is not very long when used in chemical plants.
