Installation issues with double-flange level gauges

Can a double-flange level gauge be installed directly on the flange of the equipment opening? I have an installation diagram here that shows flanges with dual connection surfaces, and it seems quite complicated. Could any expert please share the installation diagram for a double-flange level gauge so I can take a look?
A valve needs to be added; otherwise, subsequent maintenance will be very troublesome
In general, for double-flange installation, a gate valve is installed first at the outlet of the equipment, followed by a coupling; a short vent pipe plus a ball valve or needle valve is added in between, and then the flanges for the double-flange level gauge are installed.

Although both are called double flanges, in reality double flanges are divided into diaphragm type and flange type. For diaphragm types, an additional blind flange is required to press it in place ； The flange type can be installed directly.
