The on-site bypass valves are connected using hoses with ferrule connections. May I ask if a 6mm hose can be used in place of a 1/4 inch hose?
I was wrong. May I ask, can a 1/4 inch hose be used as a substitute for a 6mm hose?
There is a slight difference: those that are not chain-owned and pose no safety risks can be replaced
Upon calculation, there is a slight difference in the outer diameter of the two types of hoses. The key points are whether the collar can be inserted properly, and whether there is any leakage or looseness after tightening; if none of these issues arise, then it is considered a success. Now, stainless steel pipes are mostly used for connections on control valves; why then are hoses chosen?
A temporary jumper will do; as long as there’s no air leakage
