They are not exactly the same, only similar; compensation wires are used to extend the cold end (the free end) of the thermocouple into a control room where the temperature is more stable.
Not exactly the same, but it’s very close to its thermoelectric properties.
A special type of wire used to extend the cold end of a thermocouple to a location that is far from high temperatures and has a relatively stable temperature. Essentially, it is a thermocouple composed of two different metals. Within a certain temperature range, its thermoelectric properties are essentially the same as those of the main thermocouple. The principle is basically the same.
It’s difficult to be exactly the same; more or less the same, I guess.
