Regarding 485 wiring

The connector in Figure 1 is used in conjunction with Figure 2. I’d like to ask everyone: if it’s the setup shown in Figure 1, can one directly solder several wires to the 9-pin female connector without using this integrated wiring harness? If possible, how should the wires be connected? I use half-duplex 485
An RS485/RS232 converter is essential; without it, it won’t be compatible. There should be converters that convert RS485 directly to USB available as well, right?
No, the public interface has a USB-to-485 conversion circuit and protocol; connecting it directly will not work
On-site communication debugging involves converting from 232 to 485, with a connection made using a 485-to-USB converter; then why was it said that it wouldn’t work on the third floor? ? ?
I think the original poster first failed to distinguish between male and female; P
