Principle of external level gauge: The external level gauge operates on the principle of echo in the time domain of ultrasonic pulses. Upon reaching the interface between the liquid and gas, these pulses are reflected and return to the detector. An external level gauge determines the height of the liquid by calculating the time difference and the speed of ultrasound propagation in the liquid. This measurement method of external level gauges truly enables non-invasive sensing by \"penetrating through the wall.\" When using an external level gauge, there is no need to make holes in the container, making it particularly suitable for applications involving high pressure, severe corrosion, or toxic and hazardous conditions. The signal from the external level gauge sensor is processed by a microprocessor and sent to either a local display or a user control system.
