Hello, everyone who is an expert in instruments and sales professionals. The tender for instruments for the new project at our factory is about to start soon. Take this opportunity to discuss together what brands are available for pneumatic control valve positioners, pneumatic on/off valves, solenoid valves, and pressure reducing valves. Which ones are good, the domestic ones or the imported ones?
I’m afraid everyone has their own experience with this issue, and it’s likely that there won’t be a unified approach; it’s better to decide based on the performance of the products being used in one’s own company, selecting the best ones and discarding the rest. The imported positioners we have used include Fisher, Fox, Siemens, and Yamata products, all of which have delivered good performance. I have used domestic positioners from Chuanyi, Wuzhong, and Shangziyi; they work well for ordinary valves, mainly because of their low cost and ease of maintenance. The solenoid valves should be ASCO products that are originally imported and manufactured by the factory – they perform very well. The filter pressure reducing valves are selected by each valve manufacturer themselves; no major problems have been found. However, some manufacturers (foreign ones) do not provide clear specifications, and the pressure gauges are incomplete. I hope this helps you.
If there are no professionals available, it is advised not to choose too many options, as this will make repairs more complicated
For pressure relief valves, solenoid valves, and the like, brands such as SMC, ASCO, Norgren, and YTC; for domestic products, I’m familiar with AirTag

May I ask which brand of solenoid valve you ultimately chose? I am also looking for solenoid valves with good cost-performance ratios other than ASCO!
