What is the cause of the slow fluctuations in output pressure of the FISHER DVC6000 series single-acting positioners? Check for air leakage in the actuator
Loose feedback rods, an improperly adjusted amplifier, incorrect PID parameters, and other such reasons could all be the cause.
If you are operating it manually and the valve doesn’t move, it’s either because the pressure gauge is broken or because the filter at the pressure gauge is clogged or something similar.
My description isn’t very clear. First, after the up and down valve positions stabilized, fluctuations in the valve positions were observed, and it was then that fluctuations in pressure were noticed. The symptoms are similar to those of a leak somewhere; a leak in the actuator can be ruled out, as all pipelines have been checked tightly. It seems that the possibility of a leak elsewhere besides the positioner can be excluded, so I suspect there might be a problem with the positioner itself. The pressure decreased at an average rate of 0.1 psi/s, before eventually rising again
Have you checked the amplifier and IP? It can be taken apart and cleaned; dirt on it can also cause fluctuations.
First, check various measurement data and adjust the values, as well as the tables... Then examine any issues with the valve itself... I’ll watch to see how the issues with the valve are checked...
Does the attachment not have Fisher’s points? Let them come and take a look.
First, you need to rule out manual fluctuations. If there are no fluctuations when operating manually, it’s likely a problem with the PID settings. If the fluctuations occur for a while before stopping, it’s most probably due to an improperly adjusted locator or an improperly set gas supply amplifier, etc. If there are irregular fluctuations and abnormal noises from the cylinder, it is usually necessary to check the springs; if that doesn’t work, replacement is required.
Check the IP converter; we have encountered situations where high temperatures caused the oil inside it to melt, resulting in fluctuations in performance until it stopped working.
