With the advancement of technology, production equipment is becoming more intelligent. What are the successful experiences in using automatic control devices to replace traditional manual operations in practical work? What are some successful experiences in the renovation of metering, feeding, material transfer, temperature control, reaction process control, distillation, centrifugation, drying, crushing, and packaging in general chemical processing operations?
Over the past three years, we have replaced manual transportation with automated conveying for zinc calcine, employed ABB robots for the automatic stacking, weighing, and coding of zinc ingots, implemented dynamic measurement of zinc calcine, and introduced automated dosing in the mineral processing plant. We are also planning to introduce improvements for the automatic stripping of zinc ingots and an automated system for cadmium ingot production; currently, there is a shortage of labor! Saving time and effort is truly commendable! ! !
Generally, the higher the continuity of a process, the greater the chances of successful automation; processes that are intermittent tend to perform much worse in this regard!
It mainly depends on whether it is a continuous process; the degree of automation is generally high, and full automation can basically be achieved. Intermittent processing processes can hardly be fully automated; they are mostly controlled manually, as such processes are difficult to control in the first place… That’s the situation with the core processing steps. As for processes like drying, centrifuging, and packaging, there are now mature manufacturers of automated equipment that can be used right away. Automated filling in factories is also quite common these days.
