The current range is half lower than that on the inverter; setting it to 10 mA makes it higher. Initially, it was suspected that there was an issue with the range setting; I searched for a long time without finding where to adjust it, and it wasn’t mentioned in the user manual either I don’t get it……
Although I haven’t used this before, it’s clear that the type of signal for the image is fixed, and the range is set during the step of creating the points, or by modifying the details of those points directly on the DCS screen
Signal type 4~20MA is fine; what you see in your diagram should be the hardware information. To change the range, you need to do it in the tag settings
What you should change is the input signal type for the card slot channel, right? The range cannot be changed here. You’d also be better off confirming whether the output type of the inverter is 4-20mA; I’ve seen cases where the output was set to 0-20mA without any changes being made
At this time, for hardware configuration, the range needs to be changed in the real-time database
First, verify that the output of the frequency converter is 4-20mA, matching that of the DCS. Second, the inverter output should use the actual current of the motor, rather than the rated current. That is, it is a setting that is calculated based on the ratio of the current transformers
I strongly agree with what was said on floor 5: in the hardware configuration software, it is only possible to set the type of signal input; the actual range must be specified by adjusting the maximum and minimum engineering values in the real-time database. The prerequisite is to ensure that the signal type of the inverter’s AO output matches the signal type specified in the hardware configuration software, and that the measurement range corresponds to the maximum and minimum engineering values in the DCS real-time database.
