I would like to ask everyone: does the safety valve that comes standard with plunger-type high-pressure pumps need to be inspected? The company’s equipment department says it isn’t necessary, but the equipment manufacturer claims that some customers do conduct inspections. However, since there is no nameplate for such inspections, various parameters are not available.
If there are doubts, testing is necessary! Go and ask at the inspection agency!

When used as a safety accessory for pressure vessels, safety valves are subject to mandatory inspection. Safety valves on the outlets of rotating equipment are not subject to mandatory inspection if they are not used as safety accessories for pressure vessels.
