RT, how are the maintenance and servicing cycles for chemical process instruments determined? Are there any relevant specifications or standards that specify the inspection cycles and contents for various types of measuring instruments, actuators, and control systems? How do everyone carry out the maintenance and upkeep work in instrument repair? I hope experts will respond actively~~
Local instruments are classified into Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C. Instruments of Grade A require an inspection once a year, which is an external inspection and falls under the category of instruments that must be inspected regularly； Grade B requires an annual inspection as well as an internal inspection; Grade C needs to be calibrated before installation, along with an internal inspection. Then, the transmitter is inspected internally once a year. The actuator and valves are to be inspected internally once a year. For the control system, a backup is created once a month, and random inspections of the channels are conducted every six months. Internal inspection of grounding resistance, to be tested once a month. The maintenance cycle for instruments is once every six months: maintenance is carried out in winter to prevent freezing and condensation, and again during routine maintenance in summer. Apply oil when it’s time to apply oil, and scrub when it’s time to scrub.
