An emergency shut-off valve is designed and installed, and an emergency stop button is provided in the control room to cut off the feed in the event of abnormalities such as excessive liquid level or pressure
Generally, emergency stop buttons are used in emergency situations. Those integrated with interlock and SISI systems are installed directly on the system. They can be divided into hard-handling and soft-handling types; hard-handling buttons are located beneath the control panel. For emergency stop buttons of individual devices, they can be placed at a distance from the device on-site, or in a location within the control room that facilitates easy operation. These buttons are usually electrical switches or signals for controlling start/stop operations.
The on-site valves are equipped with an emergency shut-off function and include solenoids. There is also an emergency stop button in the control panel, as well as valuable connection relays; when the emergency stop button is pressed, the relays lose power and the solenoids become de-energized, thereby cutting off the air supply and closing the valves
May I ask, for cut-off valves controlled by DCS or SIS systems, if a hard button emergency stop switch is required, how should it be installed? Thank you

If only manual operation is required, simply add buttons to the control panel
