I would like to ask: when threading galvanized cable protection tubes, such as those with a DN15 size, does the threading machine always produce G 1/2\" threads? Is it possible to get ZG 1/2\" threads or other types of threads as well?
This depends on which thread module is used for threading.
What standard thread is commonly used in on-site construction? It seems that the galvanized pipe fittings commonly used in conjunction with it all have G threads. Is it industry standard to thread the protective end caps using G threads, rather than using ZG or NPT threads?

Aren’t galvanized pipes threaded to connect to explosion-proof hoses? For explosion-proof hoses, use the appropriate thread size corresponding to the connector’s specifications; generally, G threads are used in such designs.
Look at the die head; see what kind of die head you’ve bought
G threads are more common as they are easy to machine; NPT tapered threads are not so easy to machine, I guess
For sizes under 1 inch, 1/2, 3/4 thread sizes can be used; for larger sizes, corresponding die sets are required
