Could some expert give me some advice on writing an algorithm for a uniform temperature decline?

The crystallization reactors in our factory need to cool at a constant rate of 5–10° per hour, with automatic adjustment via the outlet valve. DCS is Allen-Bradley’s M6. I saw a post from 2009 stating that modules with a slope function could be used, but I couldn’t find any specific such modules. Do any experts have a concrete solution? Any advice would be appreciated. Not very grateful! ! !

I did a simple version; the idea is to change the set value of the PID once per minute, with the set value equal to (5~10)/60*(the minute number), roughly following that concept

I thought the same thing – should the SP value be set as (temperature inside the kettle – set temperature)/60*T (where T is the timer value)? How were the results of your experiments?

It’s okay, but it’s a bit tricky to do in practice. Try it on your own first

The SV value output by the RAMP module to the PID

I just checked the block instructions for Ritech – does it have a slope function block there? Hollyland calls it HSRAMP; yes, that’s right: https://wenku.baidu.com/view/b42182010740be1e650e9a21.html, page 39 – the original document’s page number is 302
