Liquid oxygen is vaporized into oxygen, which is then supplied to open-flame devices. Should toxic and flammable gas detectors be installed near the potential leakage points of such devices?
50493 is not listed under oxygen
Oxygen is neither a flammable gas nor a toxic gas, so it does not require monitoring.

It is still advisable to install an oxygen detector, mainly to monitor any unnecessary risks caused by high oxygen levels. Used to monitor potential oxygen leaks. It’s not necessary in a well-ventilated environment.
I’ve learned it; it seems I still need to look up more standards. :)
O2 itself is not a deflagrating gas; it has no LEL. With so much O2 in the air, there’s no need to measure it. The leaked gases from the furnace can indeed be measured. 500493: Measures O2 levels; the purpose is to detect low-oxygen environments in order to prevent suffocation of personnel. An O2 leak indicates an oxygen-rich environment.
I got it; it means that an oxygen leak needs to be checked, right?
Is it necessary to monitor the oxygen level near the liquid oxygen tank and the vaporizer?
Can a peroxide-rich environment pose a safety risk to people? For example, poisoning leading to an explosion of the liquid oxygen tank, with people suffering injuries from the shock of the explosion?
So, is there any regulation regarding what the alarm value H should be set at?
