Recently, the intelligent inspection robot system for Northern China Huajin Group’s “dark factory” project was put into trial operation, resulting in a significant improvement in inspection efficiency and accuracy. This intelligent inspection robot system consists of core components such as the robot body, wireless base stations, an integrated charging station, and a remote control station. The inspection robot is equipped with various high-precision sensors that enable it to collect in real time key information such as images, sounds, infrared thermal images, data on combustible gases, and temperature levels from the site ; It is possible to simulate the \"inspection methods of looking, listening, asking, and feeling\" used by operators, and by leveraging autonomous learning technology, the collected information can be classified and stored in digital form in real time ; It features four-wheel independent drive, offering strong power to handle various complex road conditions with ease ; Equipped with advanced devices such as explosion-proof lidar, explosion-proof dual-axis gimbal, and explosion-proof gas sensors, it features a high level of explosion protection as well as temperature restrictions, along with excellent dust and water resistance, ensuring its safe and reliable operation in extreme environments. Since its testing began in December last year, the inspection robot has successfully completed inspection tasks at 83 different locations, including pressure gauge readings, motor temperature measurement, leak detection, inspection of circulating water sight glasses, and monitoring of oil level in oil cups. Currently, the robots carry out autonomous inspections every 2 hours, with each inspection taking about 1 hour. After completing the inspection, the robot will automatically return to the charging station to recharge. After 70 days of continuous operation, the total inspection distance has reached 74 kilometers, and all key inspection items have met the design specifications.
Does this mean that chemical engineering design institutes need to add a new specialty, the “intelligent systems specialty,” since the traditional communication specialties are not capable of handling this task?
“It features four-wheel independent drive, offering strong power to handle various complex road conditions with ease; ”Can they climb stairs? The installation conditions for various equipment in chemical plants are complex, and it seems there is still a long way to go before manual inspections can be completely replaced.
With the advent of intelligent instruments, manufacturers must adhere to common standards in order to enable analysis and evaluation.
