I now want to use the water tank level to control the start and stop of the water pump, but the water tank is quite far away from the pump – about 700 meters. How can I use the water tank level to control the pump’s operation?
The simplest method is to add two contacts at the high and low liquid level limits: the pump starts when the level is high and stops when it is low.
Such a long distance – isn’t that a problem?
As long as the electrical signals are properly wired and not damaged, there shouldn’t be any problems, right?
Electrical signals – 700 meters is nothing at all
It’s just a matter of adding automatic control, position switches, and power supply for control; this can be achieved using relays, or a small control system can also be employed, along with a control chip.
