When performing a LOPA analysis, a SILA is sometimes specified. The common statement is that it \"indicates a requirement for functional safety and calls for functional testing, but there is no need to verify the completeness of functional safety; functional safety may be integrated into the process control system.\" I would like to know which standard or specification this statement comes from. I checked the relevant SIS system specifications, and there is no such term as SILA. However, there is no need to verify the integrity of functional safety; functional safety can potentially be integrated into process control systems
