How to determine the installation height of a side-mounted float level controller

I want to install a float level controller in the water tank; the pump should stop when the water level drops to 300 mm. The float level controller will be installed on the side. Is the installation height of the float level controller supposed to be 300 mm? If not, how is the installation height determined?
The side-mounted float switch has a travel distance; 01 is non-adjustable, while 02 is adjustable
My water tank’s water level varies from high to low; I want an alarm to be triggered when the level reaches 300mm. Can I install the UQK-02 at a height of 100mm within the tank to achieve this?

What a float ball can provide is simply a switch; there are single-channel switches as well as multi-channel ones. The simplest type is one that is 300mm long and fits into a 300mm interface, but there are also various other designs with different installation methods. Again, check the instructions.
