I want to know how to adjust the differential pressure level gauge from Weika; can it be adjusted to correspond to the density of the medium being measured? In the center of the dial, it says H2O, which indicates that the liquid level should be displayed based on the density of water in the initial state. I measured liquid ethylene at 160 degrees; its density is 0.643.
Could it just be a differential pressure gauge, with mmH2O indicating the differential pressure in millimeters of water column?……
It can be considered just a differential pressure gauge; of course, it can also be used as a level gauge, but the unit conversion should be done on the DCS side. As for mmH2O, it is a unit of pressure, not a unit of height: lol
I see now; it’s about differential pressure. To convert it to a liquid level measurement, all that’s needed is to replace the gauge face. For remote transmission on the side, a screwdriver is required to make the adjustments so that it works with the corresponding medium.

Hello, I am a WIKA agent. Feel free to ask me any questions. This is just a differential pressure gauge; if you need to display the liquid level, you will have to replace the gauge head with a differential pressure level transmitter, which will then convert the pressure into height: P=ρgh
Can screws also change the medium? It’s unlikely. It’s usually just for zeroing out; fine-tuning is possible.
In other words, can a differential pressure level gauge only transmit data to the system via a transmitter, or can it display the value locally?
