There is an E+H electromagnetic flowmeter in the unit; under normal operation it shows a reading of around 7 cubic units. Currently, its reading is slowly dropping to around 4 cubic units, but it stabilizes at that level and stops decreasing further. Upon on-site inspection, the grounding and wiring appear to be fine, and the two flowmeters connected in series along the pipeline also show readings of around 7 cubic units. When the circuit board was checked, pressing on it caused the reading to rise back to around 7 cubic units, but it dropped back to 4 cubic units after a while. Trying to fix it by using some object or by replacing the circuit board didn’t work either. Please suggest some solutions. Thank you. :)
If pressing a button returns it to position 7, it’s still a circuit issue; check whether the pins are corroded or loose – it’s best to examine them
There is no corrosion. At first, I suspected that the pins were loose, so I replaced the board; yet after connecting it, the value still decreased over time: L
It’s possible that the excitation coil has become damp, or that the medium affecting it is to blame. Here, we have more than 100 cubic meters of wastewater, and its level gradually drops to zero; after taking the coil out and letting it sit for a while, it can function normally for a few days again. Even when the E+H manufacturer came, there was nothing that could be done; a new unit was installed later, but the same problem occurred again after 1 year.
What medium? This is a very important parameter
It would be best if it could be sent back to the factory, so that more professional people can repair it or check it
What medium? Will it corrode the electrode? Is it a flocculant for wastewater treatment?
The medium is nicotinic acid, but the situation improves as soon as the circuit board is moved; however, it falls back down after a while.
A new one has also been replaced :(
