Our company has manufactured two units for China’s Fifth Ring Road; their explosion-proof rating is as shown in the diagram above. Now we are required to carry out wiring work and use steel pipes for this purpose. If it is Zone 21, according to GB50058-2014, a control cable with a cross-sectional area of 2.5 square millimeters is required ； If it is Zone 22, only 1.5 square millimeters of control wire is required. It is currently in a state where the project has not been delivered. If the classification of explosion-proof areas was determined during the design phase, I can ask the people at China Five Rings ； If it needs to be determined before production, then the people at China Five Rings cannot yet decide whether this explosion-proof area is Zone 21 or Zone 22.
