I would like to ask how to transmit the soft start fault signal to the DCS?

Dear teachers, this is part of the soft start manual. Can I set K2 to count the number of faults, and then connect J3 and J5 to the DCS system? Is that so?
Yes, once the function is defined, it can be connected to the DI module of the DCS; normally an open-circuit contact is used, and the configuration in the DCS needs to be set up accordingly
Thank you! Is the same approach applied to frequency converters and motor protectors as well?
The frequency conversion is basically the same; there is less contact with the motor protector, so I’m not quite sure
The types of signals exchanged between DCS, SIS, and other instrument control systems and MCC are as follows: 1. Analog signals (current, voltage, power, frequency, etc.): 4–20mA DC standard signals, with signal isolators designed by the instrumentation team. 2 Operation signal: Relay output N.O. contact. 3 Fault signal: Relay output N.C. contact (using J4, J5). 4 Start signal: Relay output N.O. contact. 5 Stop signal: Relay output N.C. contact. 6 Allow start signal: Relay output N.O. contact. 7 The start, stop, and allow-to-start signals should be provided with holding circuits by the electrical engineering team.
