Hello everyone. What is the Chinese name for this condensate pot? A condensation tank or a buffer tank? Or something else? I roughly understand that it is used to protect the transmitter when the medium is steam, and it is said that without it the measurement accuracy will be poor? Also, besides pressure transmitters, is it used for level measurement as well? Could you explain its specific functions, when it should be used, what the installation requirements are, etc.? It would be great to have some standards or guidelines to refer to. Also, the image below shows the samples that were sent over; please take a look to see if there are any issues. Thank you!
Condensation tank. Condensate is generated to prevent high-temperature steam from damaging the transmitter’s diaphragm. When measuring pressure, be sure to subtract the hydrostatic pressure difference of the condensate.
We call it a honeycomb pack; it is essentially an isolation tank, along with isolation media and diaphragm boxes, designed to prevent high-temperature media from damaging the transmitter’s diaphragm boxes
A condensation tank is used to cool high-temperature media in order to prevent damage to the transmitter diaphragm. A buffer tank prevents excessive pressure from causing instantaneous high pressure that could damage the transmitter diaphragm.
