Help post: How to measure the wall temperature of a steam drum?

I would like to ask: What type of surface thermocouple should be used for the drum wall temperature, and how should its parameters be determined?
Generally, welded collector blocks are used, with these blocks being welded to the wall of the steam drum (as shown in the diagram). When welding, it is important to note that only the three edges without armor material should be welded; welding the edge with armor material can have an impact on that armor material. If less than 3 surfaces are welded, the fixation will not be secure enough.
