Are there any regulations specifying the sequence and time intervals for various specialties in a design institute to produce construction drawings? Now the management requires that all specialties produce their drawings together. According to standard project practices, the instrumentation specialty is supposed to complete its drawings within one month after the piping specialty has done so. Is there any basis for this requirement?
A specific order for producing drawings is necessary, but the time interval between them is not fixed; this depends on the volume of design work and the human resources allocated to it.
“The leader requested that all departments collaborate to produce the drawings.” This requirement is easy to meet; the design institute can wait until all the design drawings from various departments have been stored before producing the final drawings and conducting another design briefing.
