Asking for advice, I found that the color markings on the handles of each three-valve and five-valve manifold are different. Some balance valves are blue, the blowdown valve is blue, and the stop valve is red. Some balance valves are green, the blowdown valve is red, and the stop valve is blue. I feel that the color of valve handles cannot be stipulated uniformly. Instead, the key is to allow on-site operators to master the structural characteristics of the valve group, correct installation methods, accurately identify the functions of each handle, and correct operating steps. It is not appropriate to place people's subjective initiative on objective conditions. People can think and judge.
For a five-valve group, you can determine whether it is a stop valve or a blowdown valve by looking at the isolated (stop valve) or test (drainage valve) signs.
There are also many that don’t have color markings at all. It seems that there are no strict regulations. It’s better not to look at the color distinction. It may not be convenient to read the letter mark, but you can tell it by looking at the position if you are familiar with the valve group.
