May I ask: Where does the definition of diaphragm pressure transmitters come from? I searched through a lot of information but couldn’t find a precise definition. I know that the flange diaphragm type pressure transmitter is a diaphragm type pressure transmitter. I mainly want to figure out whether a pressure transmitter with a threaded connection is a diaphragm-type pressure transmitter For example, Chuanyi’s PDS803 series.
Diaphragm pressure transmitters are transmitters that utilize a diaphragm; they are mainly suitable for viscous or slurry-like media as well as highly corrosive liquids. The connection method used does not matter – whether threaded or flanged connections are employed depends on the process requirements and operating conditions.

According to the Chuanyi PDS803 manual, the material used for the liquid-contacting part is a diaphragm; the 803 model is indeed a diaphragm-type pressure transducer with threaded connections
It is essentially a regular flanged diaphragm; meanwhile, the supplier is required to provide the lower flange as well, to convert it into a threaded connection
I took a look at the samples of Chuanyi PDS; the 843 differential pressure transmitter also has parameters related to the isolation diaphragm. In that case, most pressure transmitters available on the market these days are diaphragm-type, right?
For process connections with a diameter of DN50, we generally choose flanged diaphragm pressure gauges; for those with a diameter of DN10, we opt for pressure gauges with threaded connections.
