A process package generally includes a PFD, PID, list of equipment, equipment condition diagrams, construction drawings, pipe material lists, pipe data sheets, instrument data sheets, valve data sheets, an IO list, interlock logic diagrams, etc. The process package design review focuses on checking whether the design content is comprehensive, whether the depth of the design documents is sufficient for subsequent work, the consistency of the documents, and whether the process control plans are reasonable ; Review the instrument data sheet, IO list contents, patents for skid-mounted equipment, and the rationality of the interlock logic, etc. The process package includes process design descriptions (covering aspects such as the process principle, selection of main equipment, utility consumption, and environmental protection), a Process Flow Diagram (PFD) showing the process principles, a Process Instrumentation Diagram (PID), material balance sheets, recommended equipment layout diagrams, equipment data sheets (for containers, heat exchangers, and towers), safety valve data sheets, and instrument specifications. The review of the process package is carried out through specialized discussions, such as those related to processes, equipment, safety, occupational health, automatic control, telecommunications, etc. The process team serves as the core group, first reviewing the process flow – ensuring that the main route is correct – after which other relevant specialties contribute to the review. The process package review is a team-based review process; although disagreements may arise from time to time, the process of exchanging ideas is itself a process of innovation. Many issues that were not considered can also be raised, and clarifications can be provided during the kick-off meeting.
