Could you explain what self-mixed heat is?
Self-heating involves installing the measurement pipeline as part of a process pipeline or equipment that is at a certain temperature, and insulating it; the heat generated by the process pipeline or equipment itself is used to prevent freezing, without the need for any additional heat sources. Is this used very little? Is it useful?
Are you in charge of this heat tracing? Then it’s called insulation. Heat tracing refers to devices that follow the same path as the pipeline and are capable of dissipating heat, thereby providing warmth to the medium flowing within the pipeline. You don’t even understand the concept of heat tracing, do you?
But for self-heating, don’t you need to introduce it? Will it have an impact on the flow rate?

As soon as the pipeline stops, everything freezes up; when it’s time to start operating again, not a single gauge works. The process team will pressure you heavily, saying that your gauges are faulty and interfere with operations. If conditions permit, use another heat source; electric heating is also a good option
You’re absolutely right; it’s better not to use self-heating systems for insulation – it’s really problematic when the machine is stopped……
