In the petrochemical industry, wire-type sensors with Omega plugs are relatively rarely used. In most cases, thermoresistors, thermocouples, or integrated temperature sensors with terminal boxes are preferred, as these devices are better suited for harsh industrial environments and high-temperature conditions. .
Judging from its appearance, this product isn’t even fit to be used as a regular consumer good; it shouldn’t be employed in industrial applications either, as it is too thin and lacks an effective waterproof and moisture-proof structure.
