Our plant has 3 coke ovens, which are heated using a mixture of blast furnace gas and coke oven gas. Recently, the pressure of the blast furnace gas used on the machine side of Coke Oven No. 2 has exceeded 1000 Pa (usually it is around 700–800 Pa), while the pressure of blast furnace gas used in Coke Oven No. 3 is only around 700 Pa. The valve openings in the mixers are similar, yet the temperature in Coke Oven No. 2 still fails to rise. What’s the reason?
