On December 25, 2017, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation organized a meeting in Beijing to evaluate the scientific and technical achievements of the \"Water-cooled Wall Gasifier for Water Coal Slurry\" (a gasifier that produces syngas and steam simultaneously using water coal slurry). This gasifier features a gasification chamber, a radiant steam generator, and a quenching chamber all connected together within a single housing, resulting in a simple structure and low investment costs. It is capable of producing high-quality steam, thereby offering high thermal efficiency for the system. It can use materials with high melting points, high sulfur content, high ash content, as well as semi-coke and petroleum coke as gasification feedstocks, allowing it to work well with a wide range of coal types. The temperature of the raw syngas entering the quenching chamber is low, which reduces the amount of water needed for quenching as well as the volume of wastewater that needs to be recycled, thus contributing to energy savings and environmental protection. The Linyi branch of Yangmei Fengxi Group utilized this technology to build a demonstration unit for a gasifier with a daily coal processing capacity of 500 tons; it was successfully put into operation in April 2016 and has been operating steadily ever since.
I heard that Yulin Energy Chemical has also installed a half-waste-boiler system, which is set to go into operation next year; I’m looking forward to it!
Well, Yankuang Yulin Energy Chemicals has installed a gasification furnace with a four-nozzle semi-waste-boiler configuration
