Recently, I have been conducting tests on new coal varieties. The coal analysis results show that, compared to the original coal variety, it has a higher sulfur content, a higher iron content, and a lower calcium content. The range of its viscosity-temperature characteristic curve is higher and narrower than that of the original coal variety. I have also increased the oxygen-to-coal ratio in the combustion process for some time now. . . Currently, based on the monitoring dashboard, only the sulfur content shows significant changes. Due to the increased oxygen-to-coal ratio, the pressure difference at the slag outlet has decreased. No changes are apparent in other process parameters as shown on the dashboard. As for the analysis of the quality of the ash water, there are no obvious changes. My question is: 1. Based on experience, are there any likely changes in other process parameters in the short term? 2. In the long term, what impact will this have on the process equipment, and how can it be prevented? 3. A high iron content can cause coking inside the furnace; will this have an impact on the slag outlet pressure difference? 4. Will there be any other issues that haven’t been considered? It mainly depends on the ash content and ash melting point. Low calcium is a good thing; it doesn’t easily cause structural issues
