The general process is as follows: Weld a air tank with a volume of 0.03 cubic meters, apply a pressure of 20 kPa (equivalent to 2 meters of water column), and maintain this pressure for 30 minutes. A pass is considered successful if the pressure drop is less than 500 Pa. Note that the valve should be adjusted to three positions – fully open, fully closed, and the intermediate position – and no butter should be applied to the surface of the valve; It is advisable to clean both the plug core and the interior of the shell with kerosene before compression.
Hello, thank you so much! Is it possible to remove 5 to 6 valves and connect them together for pressure testing? Testing each one for 30 minutes is quite time-consuming and delays production.
Trying to suppress them by putting them together definitely won’t work! It’s impossible to determine which one is leaking. Additionally, if each one leaks by 20%, then individually they would be considered qualified; but when all 5 are considered together, they fail the standard!
