When there are crystals in the ammonium sulfate mother liquor, the crystallization pump cannot deliver fluid; stopping the pump and restarting it restores flow, but after another ten minutes or so, flow still does not resume. I thought it was because the head of the crystallization pump was low (the original pump had a head of 25m); later I replaced it with a pump having a head of 38m, but the problem persisted. Please ask for help from experienced sailors!
1. Check whether the motor speed is normal. 2. Verify if the distance between the rotating impeller and the stationary impeller is too large; measure that distance to find out, and replace the impellers if necessary.
It could be that excessive crystallization has blocked the suction tube, or the crystal nuclei are too small and the mother liquor is viscous.
The most likely cause in this case is insufficient pump head; it is recommended to use a pump with a head of over 50 meters. You can calculate the required value based on the specific gravity of the mother liquor, and of course, a safety margin should also be taken into account

It is related to the impeller. For slurry pumps with crystals, open impellers are the best choice for transportation.
On the one hand, the crystal ratio is high; try injecting water to see if there is any improvement. On the other hand, check the condition of the pump impeller.
Check whether the stirring at the bottom of the saturator is functioning properly.
Check the height difference between the crystallization tank and the pump, the quality of the mother liquor, and whether there is an excess of acid tar
