As is well known, when this acid-base ratio falls within a reasonable range (it seems to be between 2 and 5; specific details can be found in relevant sources or on Baidu), the melting and fluidity properties of the ash are at their best. When the acid-base ratio of the ash exceeds this value, the fluidity of the coal ash tends to be problematic. The viscosity of the molten ash in the temperature range of 25CP to 100CP is either too high, too low, or falls within a too narrow range, resulting in insufficient operational flexibility. In simple terms, coal blending is about adjusting the slag, that is, regulating the acid-base ratio of the ash and slag. Generally, the coal blending ratio requires coal blending tests to be conducted by relevant institutions, and this incurs costs. If you don’t want to spend money, then use an approximate ratio of the two types of coal ash components, and gradually increase the proportion of the new coal type while conducting trial burns in order to find the optimal mixture (taking into account factors such as operability and cost). This process takes some time, but at least no money is spent.
