The upgrade and renovation project for the 1.35-million-ton anthracite production facility at Shaanxi Coal completed comprehensive acceptance testing. On November 26, Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group organized a comprehensive acceptance inspection of this upgrade and renovation project for the 1.35-million-ton/year anthracite production facility operated by Tianyuan Company, which is part of Shenmu Coal Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. Representatives from the Basic Construction Management Department, Planning and Development Department, Safety and Environmental Protection Supervision Department, Finance and Assets Department, Human Resources Department, and General Affairs Department of Shaanxi Coal Group; the Planning and Basic Construction Department of the Chemicals Group; the Production and Environmental Protection Planning Department of Shenmu Coal Chemical Company; as well as personnel from the project construction units, design firms, supervision agencies, construction companies, testing institutions, and report preparation agencies attended the meeting. The meeting heard reports from the project owner and various participating units on the progress of the project. By visiting the project site in person, an on-site inspection was carried out to assess the construction quality and operational status of key production facilities and supporting systems such as the lignite carbonization unit, waste heat recovery systems, and desulfurization and denitrification devices ； Relevant technical and management documents such as the project approval documents, engineering design materials, records of the entire construction process, supervision reports, environmental protection compliance monitoring reports, and safety assessment reports were reviewed. Comprehensive inquiries were made regarding aspects such as the suitability of the project’s scale, the advancement of its technological processes, compliance with environmental emission standards, and the effectiveness of its safety management system; all relevant parties provided detailed responses to these inquiries. After thorough verification and extensive discussion, the acceptance team unanimously agreed that the construction contents of this project strictly comply with the requirements set out in the approved documents; the process technology approach adopted is advanced and feasible, and the quality of the main structures and associated facilities meets ** as well as industry standards ； The environmental protection facilities operate stably and reliably, with all pollutant emission levels meeting ** as well as the local current emission standards ； The safety facilities are fully equipped, and the safety management system is sound and effective, in compliance with relevant regulations on safe production ； During the trial operation of the project, the production capacity met the requirements and energy consumption was reduced; economic and environmental benefits became evident. The relevant acceptance documents were complete, standardized, accurate, and valid. Approval is given for the comprehensive completion acceptance. The successful completion and acceptance of Tianyuan Company’s 1.35 million tons per year lignite carbonization plant upgrade project mark the official entry of this facility into a new phase of operation characterized by high efficiency, sustainability, and safety. It also provides replicable and applicable practical experience for the green and low-carbon transformation of the lignite carbonization industry in the region. Next, Tianyuan Company will take this acceptance as a new starting point to continuously strengthen equipment operation and maintenance management, further advance process technology optimization and innovation, and fully realize the green and economic benefits of the project, thereby making greater contributions to the high-quality development of Shaanxi Coal Group as well as to the coordinated progress of the regional economy and environmental protection.
