On April 24, 2026, Ruiyang Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Ruiyang Group”) and Hangzhou Oxygen Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hangzhou Oxygen Group”) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou. Based on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Yangtze River Delta, and with a focus on the entire country, the two sides will engage in comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in areas such as the hydrogen supply system, the localization of high-end equipment, technological innovation, and industrial investment, in order to jointly promote the high-quality development of China’s hydrogen industry. Xuyang Group boasts over 30 years of extensive experience in the field of industrial by-product hydrogen. It is the world’s largest independent producer and supplier of coke, as well as China’s largest producer of methanol from coke oven gas. It is also the largest supplier of high-purity hydrogen in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region (in terms of production volume). The group has established a complete hydrogen energy industry chain that covers production, storage, transportation, refueling, utilization, and research. Hangyang Group is a world-class supplier of air separation equipment and cryogenic petrochemical equipment, as well as a pioneer and leader in China’s gas industry. In recent years, it has been actively focusing on the hydrogen energy sector, achieving self-sufficiency in key technologies and equipment related to hydrogen production, storage, liquefaction, and related units. This partnership represents a strategic integration of the advantageous resources of both parties, combining Xuyang’s hydrogen production capabilities and application scenarios with Hangyang’s equipment technology and expertise in the gas industry, thereby providing strong impetus for the development of an ecosystem across the entire hydrogen industry chain. This cooperation will focus on the joint development of hydrogen energy sales and supply systems, the domestic use of high-end equipment, as well as technological innovation and its industrial application. Through business collaboration and resource sharing, the two parties will establish a three-tier supply system comprising \"liquid hydrogen production bases + regional hydrogen storage hubs + hydrogen refueling station networks\", in order to jointly expand market opportunities in industries such as manufacturing, transportation, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace. At the same time, the two parties will work together to accelerate the localization of key equipment and systems in the hydrogen energy sector. They will also establish a hydrogen energy equipment testing and technology innovation center at the Xuyang Dingzhou hydrogen energy production base, focusing on the testing and development of core components related to liquid hydrogen and hydrogen refueling stations. Together, they will apply for national-level research projects and industry standards. To further deepen their cooperation, the two parties will explore the establishment of a joint venture to engage in hydrogen/liquid hydrogen sales, hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing, and technical services, thereby accelerating the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
