Beijing Enterprises’ 4 billion cubic meter coal-to-gas project in Inner Mongolia secures a partner for joint development. Author/Source: Date: 2017-07-21 Clicks: 36 Recently, Aerospace Changzheng Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. and Beijing BEIKE Energy Investment Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement for the Ordos coal-to-natural gas project. Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly build the \"4 billion cubic meter coal-to-natural gas project of Inner Mongolia Beikong Jingtai Energy Development Co., Ltd.\" It is understood that the 4 billion cubic meters per year coal-to-natural gas project of Beikong Inner Mongolia consists of two stages: coal-to-syngas production and syngas-to-natural gas conversion. The coal-to-syngas production phase is invested in, constructed, and operated by a aerospace engineering company. The aerospace engineering company will use space-based pressurized coal gasification technology to produce syngas, which will then be converted into natural gas by Beijing Enterprises Energy Company, and finally transported to Beijing and surrounding areas via CNPC’s pipelines.
