What is the purpose of the low-flow interlock for acidic gases in the sulfur production furnace?

When the quantity is small, the temperature inside the furnace is not sufficient to produce sulfur; therefore, the low-grade material is sent directly to the flare
It is insufficient to maintain the temperature of the combustion furnace; if interlocks are in place, the unit will shut down when the amount of acidic gas falls below the set interlock value.
The flow rate is too low, resulting in unstable flames in the reactor. It affects the burner lifespan and the overall sulfur conversion rate, thereby posing a risk of excessive emissions from the facility
