In the hydrogenation of coal tar, why is the dry point at 440 degrees for reduced pressure stage II with a density of 0.8799?

This post was last edited by liaifeng on 2018-8-5 at 10:47. The density of the coal and firewood we purchase is 0.989, with a dry matter content of no more than 390; shouldn’t a higher density correspond to a higher dry matter content as well? Why does low density occur along with high dry points?
It is related to the composition of the oil.
