On July 20, the lifting of the methanol synthesis tower for this project was successfully completed; this represents an important milestone in the project’s development, signaling that the installation work has reached its peak phase. It also marks the successful conclusion of the large-scale lifting operations. The net weight of the methanol synthesis tower is approximately 370 tons. For lifting, a 650-ton crawler crane is used as the main lifting device, with a 500-ton truck crane serving as an auxiliary lifting device. This device is difficult to transport and is one of the most critical components of the entire system. In response, the project team made thorough arrangements and careful plans to ensure the smooth progress of the lifting work. Since the factory roads were not sufficient for transporting the equipment, the project team invited the manufacturer and experts on multiple occasions to hold coordination meetings regarding large-scale lifting operations, and carried out thorough on-site inspections.
