Successful Power Supply to the 10kV Substation of Nanjing Chengzhi Yongqing’s 600,000-ton/year MTO Project Author/Source: Date: February 27, 2019 Clicks: 6 At 16:54 on February 25, the power supply to the 10kV substation of Nanjing Chengzhi Yongqing’s 600,000-ton/year MTO project, constructed by the Electrical and Instrumentation Company, was successfully established, laying a solid foundation for the operation of the olefin separation unit. The scope of power supply this time includes the high-voltage switchgear in Sections I and II of the 10kV substation, as well as the low-voltage switchgear in Sections I and II of the 0.4kV system ； Under the overall coordination of the project department and the meticulous organization of the Electrical and Instrumentation Company, starting from October 2018, the workers involved overcame numerous challenges such as complex design drawings, numerous equipment variations, tight deadlines, heavy workload, and intense concurrent construction activities. Through hard work, they completed tasks including the wiring inspection, individual testing, and system commissioning of electrical equipment such as 2 sets of 35kV transformers, 72 sets of 10kV high-voltage switchgear, 8 sets of 10kV dry-type transformers, 153 sets of low-voltage switchgear, 26 sets of 10kV capacitor banks, 5 protection and control panels, 1 DC system, and 3 soft-start systems. They made full use of the company’s tradition of excelling in tough tasks, possessing strong technical skills, and having an excellent work ethic. By successfully completing the power-up of this substation, they met the timeline targets set by the client.
