On the morning of March 1st, when it was still cold in northern Shaanxi’s Yulin region, the opening ceremony for the EPC general contracting project for the biological treatment of saline wastewater, the membrane separation system for saline wastewater, and the hazardous waste landfill as part of the company’s Shenhua Yulin Circular Economy Coal Comprehensive Utilization Project (Phase 1) was held in the Qingshui Coal Chemical Industrial Park within the Yushen Industrial Zone. This marked the start of the construction phase for this project. Located at the northern end of the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi, on the southeastern edge of the Maowusu Desert, and in the middle reaches of the Tuiwei River, this project uses coal as raw material to produce 1.8 million tons of methanol and 400,000 tons of ethylene glycol per year. It consists of various process units such as air separation units, gasification units, CO conversion units, overall plant systems, sulfur recovery units, methanol synthesis units, and ethylene glycol production units, along with supporting utility systems and auxiliary facilities. It is integrated with the various systems of the already completed Shenhua Shaanxi methanol downstream processing project, with the utility systems and auxiliary facilities of both projects being highly interconnected. The Shenhua wastewater project had a short timeline and heavy workload. After the company established a project team, the team members went to the site in advance to make preparations for the construction work, and ultimately the construction began on time according to the project plan. The timely commencement of construction at the project site signifies that the project has officially entered its accelerated phase. The Shenhua Yulin project team will work together, adhering to the company’s philosophy of \"delivering first-class work to achieve full customer satisfaction.\" They will develop a detailed and thorough construction schedule, and take practical actions to create a high-quality project and enhance the company’s reputation.
