On June 22, the protective demolition work for Jutai Energy’s 500,000-ton per year ethylene glycol production air separation unit project in Linyi, Shandong, carried out by Sinochem Sixth Construction Company, officially got under way. To date, 8 heat exchangers in the plate-type cold box have been successfully removed; these include 2 high-pressure heat exchangers and 6 low-pressure heat exchangers, with a total weight of around 80 tons. A 130-ton truck crane and an 80-ton truck crane were used to lift two heat exchangers at the same time, while a 25-ton truck crane was employed for placing the remaining units.
