The Central Research Institute of Sinochem in China is established! As a matrix management mechanism for coordinating Sinochem’s key business areas, R&D directions, and resources, the Central Research Institute has established 21 specialized research centers focusing on Sinochem’s core industrial chains and key common technologies. Composition of the Academia Sinica: 1. Center for Chemical Safety and Process Research – Focusing on chemical safety technologies, microreactors, and process technologies related to chemical separation, it aims to become a leading hub for chemical process safety and related technologies in China. 2. Sinochem Advanced Materials Research Center focuses on the research of cutting-edge materials, as well as the polymerization and modification techniques of advanced polymer materials, aiming to become a leading hub in China for the development of original advanced materials technologies. 3. Sinochem Frontier and Computational Research Center was established as appropriate, focusing on forward-looking technologies for the upgrading of existing industries and environmentally friendly raw materials, as well as computational simulation techniques for reactions and materials. 4. Sinochem Environmental Science Research Center focuses on pollution prevention and control technologies such as water treatment, solid waste treatment, and exhaust gas treatment, aiming to become a leading domestic hub for chemical industry environmental protection technologies. 5. Sinochem Engineering Innovation Research Center focuses on engineering technologies such as optimization of chemical production processes, scale-up of new products, and engineering design, aiming to become a leading hub for innovation in engineering technologies in China. 6. Sinochem Low-Carbon Chemical Engineering Research Center focuses on technologies such as carbon emission reduction in production processes, carbon separation, and the comprehensive utilization of carbon dioxide resources, aiming to become a world-class hub for innovative low-carbon chemical engineering technologies. 7. Sinochem Petrochemical Research Center focuses on the development and production of high-end polyolefin products, the comprehensive utilization of C3 and C4 resources, as well as the upgrading of petroleum products, aiming to become a leading hub for petrochemical technology in China. 8. Sinochem Engineering Plastics Research Center focuses on products and related technologies such as nylon, polyphenylene oxide, ABS, biodegradable plastics, and modifications of engineering plastics, aiming to become a leading domestic source of original technologies in the field of engineering plastics. 9. Sinochem High-Performance Fibers Research Center focuses on products such as aramid fibers, liquid crystal fibers, and carbon fibers, as well as the production and application technologies related to them, aiming to become a leading hub in China for the development of original technologies in the field of high-performance fibers. 10. Sinochem Special Resins Research Center focuses on epoxy resin formulation systems, special epoxy resins, and epoxy resin products, aiming to become a world-class source of original epoxy resin technologies. 11. Sinochem Polymer Additives Research Center focuses on the development and production of rubber and plastic additives, as well as the technological upgrading of raw materials and related intermediates, aiming to become a leading hub in China for the creation of original polymer additive technologies. 12. Sinochem Syngas Chemical Research Center focuses on products such as carbon-based fine chemicals and polycarbonates, as well as related technologies, aiming to become a leading hub in China for green and low-carbon syngas technologies. 13. Sinochem Special Materials Research Center focuses on products such as special organic fibers, special rubbers and their derivatives, special coatings, and special high-purity gases, as well as related technologies, aiming to become a leading hub in China for the development of original technologies in the field of special materials. 19. Sinochem Crop Breeding Research Center focuses on the breeding of field crops, fruits, vegetables, and other varieties, aiming to become a world-class origin point for original technologies in the modern seed industry. 20.
